ADOM crowd funding: 12 days and $9,179 to go...

Just a very brief update on the ADOM crowd funding campaign today as I'm working in a mad frenzy on finishing ADOM II 0.3.0 (so much left to be done to not make it too much of a rushed job):We had another pretty decent pledge day with saturday (although weaker than the previous days, only $844).  Thus we still need $9,179 during the 12 remaining days - which makes roughly $764.92 per day as a minimum.

Lucas Dieguez is working hard on yet another video to show off the fantastic audio stuff he's already been working on. I'm formulating the final round of the stretch goals (probably - as I don't expect we'd need anything higher than $100,000 as a target- even if some oil sheikh were to take the $50,000 pledge level ;-) ). And I'll continue the day hammering away at the code for ADOM II 0.3.0.

Keep it up and most important: Keep spreading the word about the campaign where ever you can - we need to continue getting the message out!

  1. Try to keep the pacing of the further stretch goals in line with the existing one---no giant jumps and all that versus a relatively smooth incline.

Of course, the big congrats is bringing the goal under the $10K mark with 12 days to go---that's huge.

  2. The next stretch goals probably will be - as already visible - $60,000, $70,000 (that's a pretty huge jump and I'm still fighting with myself on how to separate into smaller steps - but that was one is a hard one) and then $75,000, $80,000, $85,000 and so on until up to $100,000. I don't think it makes sense to think even further - even under the most optimal assumptions (someone still getting the $50,000 pledge ;-) - that would be so much fun!).

  3. Yeah, save the increment amount for post-IGG donation or bounty drives here onsite, or another funding drive, in the future...ie "Well, we've finished releasing pretty much all the stretch goals we reached these past several months, but didn't quite make it to these last X, so here's a fresh bounty marker to reach" or something.
