March in review

After releasing ADOM II 0.2.3 I went into silent mode for a while, so now it's time at least for a summary update of March.

The biggest bug so far: Download link in the menu not updated!

The bad news: Foolish me... the rebranding caused me to forget about updating the download link in the menu bar to the top right of this site. The download link to the right was updated. Now both are up to date. If your version ADOM II 0.2.3 does not say "ADOM II" but rather "JADE" on the main screen and the splash screen you downloaded the wrong version. (The download link in the blog post was correct, BTW)

ADOM II 0.2.3 released!

Finally, after endless hard work (by myself and very supportive prerelease testers) ADOM II 0.2.3 has been released. For those who have been following JADE development but missed out a little bit of history: ADOM II: Legends of Ancardia is the rebranded JADE. JADE (Java-based Ancient Domains Engine) remains the engine under the hood but the game from now on is called ADOM II.

Music in ADOM II

I just wanted to let you know that the very talented Oneiros Dieguez graciously has offered to compose original music for ADOM II. So far I have received two sample scores (one for Terinyo, one for haunted places) and absolutely love both of them.

Wow... time once more seems to be running out faster than last year... I have no idea where the past two months have gone and I'm already booked till mid-April. So let's have a short look at February as far as ADOM and ADOM II go...
