  5. ^ Have you two checked out this page?
    http://www.adom.de/the-resurrection/index.html

If you log in with your donor login/password, you should see your Steam key in there at the bottom of the post-login page.

Also, I've decided to help the launch a bit by writing a review:

If you feel it's good for the game, mark it as helpful so that it stays visible at the top.

    1. yep... but here is wrote: "Thus 'Seeker'-level-only donors cannot yet enter the portal and address verification for Seekers, Questors and everybody above that level will be handled a little later on. "
      So question is: WHEN? :)

  8. Congratulations! =) buying the game on Steam as soon as I get the money (even though from what I understand, the prerelease version has the same features, but eh. I can spend a little more on a game I spent so much time on during the last decade and a half ;) ).

Random idea: any chance ADOM will eventually come to gog.com? That'd give the game even more visibility =) and it would not be differently priced based on region, which I'm sure some prospective buyers would appreciate.

    1. ADOM is *definitely* coming to GOG. Might take a bit as we'd like to iron out any bugs that show their head on Steam and add a few neat features. :) Stay tuned for more info!

    2. Actually ADOM has regional prices on Steam.

    3. And because of this I can't gift ADoM to my foreign friends. That is the bad side of this.

    4. Ravenmore, Thomas: thanks for the answers =) both of these are great to hear.

    5. The graphics are pretty but I prefer ASCII version. I will buy it when it will be on GOG.

  10. Lets hope ADOM sales will be so good that Thomas can quit his job and develop ADOM full time!

    Fingers crossed!

  12. I'm an ADOM veteran since 1997, and recently I've been watching some of Gordon Overkill's playthrough videos in anticipation of the new Steam release, which I immediately bought once the game was published. However, I'm a bit disappointed at the very newest interface, since it's hard for me to adapt to the numbers on top of the tiles instead of having them below the tiles in oldschool ASCII like we had in the previous beta versions not too many months ago. I don't seem to find any way to configure the interface other than having full blown tiles or oldschool ASCII. Would it be possible to have the option to have the numbers below the tiles like we had in the beta?

    1. Try pressing Ctrl+n m. It should do what you want.

    2. I don't seem to get what I want with any of the options. What I want is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3H3TuxI07g

    3. Press Ctrl+n m until the game writes "Messages now will be displayed clasically...". To make it look exactly like in the video, you should also use a bigger window, and select a different font from the NotEye menu (Ctrl+m r f, DejaVu Mono 10x20 from the "rectangular fonts").

    4. Oh thank you very much indeed, that worked!

  13. Before the steam launch, all I really wanted to see is the extended dungeons, artifacts and monsters added to the ascii version - I still do, but gratefully acknowledge the amazing work done on the Steam release.

  14. I've paid $40 and while the game is worth more, I feel that on general principle I will not pay another $15 to now get the Steam Deluxe version..
