Vote for ADOM (or ADOM II) as Roguelike of the Year 2012

The new poll is up and you can further the development, visibility and future of ADOM by voting for it as the Roguelike of the Year 2012 (at least we made the best resurrection in my book ;-) ). Use the sidebar on the right of the linked website to vote and thus help preparing ADOM to get onto Steam and other platforms - we need as much publicity as possible to turn the resurrection into a perpetual event ;-)

Thanks a lot!

  4. Hey Thomas,

FYI The way to mitigate taxes for a private company (ie. you) is to deduct expenses (salaries, content, server costs, hardware, office space lease, infrastructure costs, utility bills, employee benefits, business trips, ..) from the income so that "profit" (which is what is taxed) is minimized.

Also I was not aware of the campaign. Can you setup something to continue to track funding, this time under gift-donations? Or register as a non-profit..

    1. And yes, I'm deducting all the costs I can but the biggest part - as far as non-externa costs like my livelihood - goes is income. And that's severely taxed.

I don't know how "non-profit" is defined in your country but German laws don't seem to acknowledge any endeavor involved in game programming as non-profit ;-) At least not tax-wise.
